As the Founder / Owner of Aerial Options Photography (2016), Chris is responsible for all aspects of management and operations of one of the finest aerial drone services in Central Texas.
From residential or commercial real estate, to construction progression, to marketing, or events, Chris Nelle is intimately involved in the success and growth of Aerial Options Photography. Chris actively strives to produce the best product for the company’s clients; while working with the various project request, timelines, and budgets.
Chris’s aerial drone project clients include an Austin Energy sponsored ribbon cutting ceremony for Austin’s new Electric Ave located in downtown Austin, Texas which included Mayor Steve Adler a keynote speaker. On the national stage Chris was a member of the Disney Team which piloted a remote control model of Dumbo at numerous venues including Austin’s SXSW and Orlando Florida’s Blueberry Festival to promote the movie launched in 2019.
When not working, Chris enjoys flying giant scale 3D remote aircraft, working on the ranch, and exploring freelance photography.
Doug Nelle serves as the CFO of Aerial Options Photography, ensuring that the company’s finance needs are embedded throughout the business, providing decision support to the key functions such as marketing, operations, and equipment upgrades.
Doug joined Aerial Options Photography in early 2017 after a lifelong storied career in golf. FAA Part 107 certified, Doug is involved with all aspects of the company’s development from safety training, to working with clients on their project(s), maintaining equipment and firmware, as well as assisting with post production both photographs and videography.
In addition Doug has brought unique experiences to Aerial Options Photography including a background in public speaking, teaching and training, and hands on work with construction progression. Doug’s most recent project was a highway (toll) monthly progression project which involved capturing high resolution photos from a Helicopter at 250ft.
When he’s not working, Doug enjoys playing and teaching golf as well as spending time with family and friends.
